Private Job Growth Strong Says Tax Receipt Growth
Berk: US federal withheld personal income and employment taxes for March to the 25th are very strong, +15.2% year over year. There are about 3 to 4 percentage points of tax increases in the numbers, but that still leaves plenty that represents good income growth, which probably comes from more jobs, less from wage increases.
